Originally from Britain, I left in 1987 with my BA Honours degree in Communication Studies and travelled the world, looking for the perfect place to settle. After living in Australia, Africa, London, and Mallorca, I finally found it in 2005 when I moved to the Algarve with my young family.
While I have worked in many exciting business ventures, none has come close to the satisfaction of being involved with Aljezur International School, where I have been teaching History and Personal, Social, Health and Economic (PSHE) education since 2016. This allows me to combine my lifelong passions for history, storytelling, health and psychology with the focus on developing the mental and physical wellbeing of our students.
