I have a Bachelor’s degree in Applied and Environmental Geology, a Masters in Environmental Management, and I’m still finishing a PhD in Environmental Sedimentology. My working experience is mainly as a teacher, both in Portuguese public schools and international schools, and as a Scientific Researcher in CIMA (Marine and Environmental Research Center) at Algarve University.
Besides these, and as side activities and hobbies, I have been projecting and dimensioning organic pools, do organic farming in my very little spare time and collaborate with environmental and animal protection organizations. I am involved with the PAN (People, Animals and Nature) party which is an eco-centric political party, and I have written a romance.
I do love teaching in Aljezur International, which I find is the best school I’ve ever worked in, both Portuguese and international, and find it not to be a business, but a family. In this school no child is let down, no colleague is left unsupported, while at the same time, common sense rules are maintained.
