I am delighted to be a recent addition to the teaching staff at AIS for IGCSE Computer Science, passing on 20+ years of experience in designing and developing software in various industries including Production-line, publishing, healthcare, transport and insurance.
Originally from the UK, I graduated with a European Informatics degree from Sheffield (UK) and Bordeaux University which led to a successful career as a Software Analyst/Engineer in diverse places around the world including England, France, Australia and now Portugal. This is where I have been living since 2000.
I continue to work as a freelance software developer in international projects, which is a perfect match for teaching IGCSE Computer Science and preparing students to live and work in a world ever more dependent on technology, smart devices and innovation.
In my spare time, I can be found mostly outdoors playing tennis, volleyball and cycling as well as having a keen interest in nature, permaculture and ecological regeneration in the region.
