State of Being Horse Sanctuary

For the third time since 2023, we welcomed students and teachers from Lentiz School in the Netherlands. They visited us in the morning and, with a group of our students, made fresh horse treats in our school kitchen. In the afternoon, we went with them to State of Being horse sanctuary near Barão de São João to give the treats to the horses who live there. Our Dutch friends had spent a week at the sanctuary as part of the Erasmus Plus initiative and made us a delicious lunch after which we had the opportunity to interact with the beautiful horses at State of Being. Thank you to Natasja, Aydan and the students from Lentiz School for inviting us for lunch and for the lovely gifts they brought for us. Also a huge thank you to Sakshin and his volunteers at State of Being horse sanctuary for the amazing work they do in rehabilitating rescued horses.
